Oaky turned nine this month! We’re delighted to mark this occasion by handing out awards to our customers who have been harnessing the power of automated upselling to facilitate incremental revenue growth and elevate the guest experience throughout 2022.
The Oaky Awards 2022 recognise the winners in the categories of profitability and guest experience, both of which we believe are essential for success in the hospitality industry:
Best Oaky Performer — awarding the hotels that have been excelling in terms of upsell revenue per room generated using Oaky.
Most Creative Upselling — bringing a spotlight on the hotels that go the extra mile to make their guests’ stays memorable through creative upselling.

Best Oaky Performer Category
Over 3,000 hotels from different corners of the world were competing for the Best Oaky Performer Award.
Based on the Oaky data, we’re thrilled to announce the best-performing hotels that reached the highest figures in terms of upsell revenue per room, with Carpe Diem Santorini (Greece) securing the first prize as the Best Oaky Performer.

Most Creative Upselling Category
To win the first prize in the Most Creative Upselling category, Oaky customers submitted applications featuring deal descriptions as well as the images they use to present the deals to their guests via Oaky. The Oaky team of experts voted to determine the winner. Based on the highest number of votes, the deal “Spacious Family Room with Kids' Tent for the Ultimate Family Getaway” by Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur now officially bears the title of the Most Creative Upselling deal.
